Cookies Policy
Last updated: February 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookies Policy explains how Fudie Inc. ("Fudie," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at fudie.ai and our application platform. We believe in transparency and minimal data collection. Fudie uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function — we do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics services that track individual users.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners. Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain on your device for a set period). We also use similar technologies such as local storage for certain functionality.
3. Cookies We Use on the Landing Page (fudie.ai)
Our public-facing landing page uses a single cookie: NEXT_LOCALE — This cookie stores your language preference (English or Spanish). It is a persistent cookie that expires after 1 year. It is set when you select a language and ensures the site displays in your preferred language on subsequent visits. This is the only cookie set by our landing page. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other third-party tracking service on our landing page.
4. Cookies We Use in the Application (Authenticated Users)
When you sign in to Fudie, the following additional cookies are set: next-auth.session-token — A session cookie that stores your encrypted authentication token (JWT). This is an HTTP-only, secure cookie that cannot be accessed by JavaScript. It is required for maintaining your signed-in session and expires after 7 days. next-auth.csrf-token — A security cookie used for Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection. It ensures that form submissions and API requests originate from our application. next-auth.callback-url — A temporary cookie used during the authentication flow to redirect you to the correct page after signing in. These cookies are strictly necessary for the application to function securely. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
5. Cookies We Do NOT Use
Fudie does not use: advertising or marketing cookies, third-party analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar), social media tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, Twitter Pixel, or similar), retargeting or remarketing cookies, device fingerprinting technologies, cross-site tracking of any kind, or cookie consent management platforms (because we only use essential cookies that do not require consent under most privacy regulations).
6. Third-Party Services and Cookies
Google Fonts — Our landing page loads fonts (Titan One, Antonio, DM Serif Display, Syne) through Next.js font optimization, which downloads and serves fonts locally. This means font requests do not go to Google servers during page loads, and Google does not set cookies through our font usage. Stripe — When you interact with our payment checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control Stripe's cookie behavior.
7. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. However, please note that blocking our essential cookies (session and CSRF tokens) will prevent you from signing in and using the authenticated application. Blocking the NEXT_LOCALE cookie means the site may not remember your language preference. Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers: Chrome (Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies), Firefox (Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies), Safari (Preferences > Privacy > Cookies), and Edge (Settings > Cookies and site permissions).
8. Do Not Track Signals
Since we do not track users across websites or use third-party tracking cookies, our platform effectively honors Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals by default. Our minimal cookie usage means there is no tracking behavior to disable.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post any changes on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes will be communicated via our platform or email.
