Public Menu Builder and WhatsApp Ordering

Fudie now includes a public menu experience so restaurants can publish a branded menu page and accept lightweight order intents through WhatsApp.

What You Can Configure

In Menu Builder, you can set:

• Restaurant info (name, address, phone, website, social links)
• Opening hours and services
• Categories and items
• Item fields: image, name, description, ingredients, allergens, dietary flags
• Theme colors and logo
• Public slug (/menu/{slug})

WhatsApp Ordering Flow

The public menu includes a floating cart (ecommerce style):

1. Guests add items from any category.
2. They open the floating cart drawer.
3. They see a quantity breakdown and estimated total.
4. They tap Send Order to WhatsApp.
5. Fudie opens WhatsApp with a prefilled order message.

This is a message-based checkout intent (not payment capture).

Localization

The public menu now supports language switching from the menu header.

• UI labels can be switched between supported locales.
• Item content (name/description/ingredients) remains whatever the restaurant entered.

Recommended Setup

• Keep category names short and clear.
• Always include allergens and dietary flags for discoverability.
• Add numeric prices when possible to improve total calculation.
• Set your WhatsApp number in international format.
